Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1:500 scale Ansett Australia Lockheed L-188 Electra VH-RMA (SKYRMA) by Sky500.
This Electra was delivered new to Ansett-ANA in 1959 and served with the airline both in passenger and cargo configuration until it was retired in late 1983. It went on to a varied career with several minor freight companies until ending up with the famous Canadian Airline Buffalo in 2008 as an airtanker. It is still with them as of 2024.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing and a display stand. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aeroclassics.
