Description
Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Air India Boeing 747-200 VT-EBD “Emperor Ashoka” (RM74201) by Retro Models using the Inflight200 mould.
Thirty one 747’s have passed through Air India’s fleet including fourteen of the early -200 series. This one sadly did not survive as it crashed at Mumbai in Jan 1978 shortly after take-off when placed into a steep bank angle due to a malfunctioning instrument.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Inflight200, J-Fox, Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, and Aviation200.
Includes display stand.
