Up for sale is a brand new 1:150 scale RAF (RAAF 460 SQ) AVRO LANCASTER Mk 1 W4783 G for GEORGE (PS5333-1) by Postage Stamp.
The Avro Lancaster B1, known with affection as “G for George”, has a remarkable history. George flew ninety operational missions over Germany and occupied Europe during the height of the bomber offensive. From the time it was built in 1942 until its retirement from active service in 1944, the bomber was flown by No. 460 Squadron RAAF from bases in the UK. It is now on permanent display at the Australian War Memorial.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix, JC Wings, and Aeroclassics.
Includes display stand.
