Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 CATHAY DRAGON Airbus A330-300 B-HYQ (04086) by Phoenix.
During it’s short life Cathay Dragon had 29 A330’s, some of them were ex Cathay Pacific aircraft that were taken on by the original Dragonair. After the merger/takeover between the two airlines they flew in a Cathay style livery but in red rather than the green of the parent airline. This particular aircraft was leased new by Dragonair and moved to the new entity in November 2016. When Cathay Dragon ceased flying in October 2020, this aircraft became part of the main Cathay fleet. As of mid 2023 it is held in storage.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, NG Model, JC Wings, Geminijets and Aviation400.
