OXFORD 1/72 RAAF Royal Australian Air Force Avro Anson AW665 (72AA005)

This Anson was one operated by the short lived 71 Squadron for patrolling the east coast of Australia on anti submarine duties. It was originally delivered in October 1941 and was passed to to 3FTS retaining it’s RAF serial. In September 1942 it joined 71 Sqn coded ‘PP-B’ . It was scrapped in February 1946.

This model aeroplane is made from die-cast metal and plastic and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Century Wings, Calibre Wings, Hobbymaster and Forces of Valor.
