Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 WORLDWAYS CANADA LOCKHEED L-1011-100 TRISTAR C-GIES (31021) by NG Model.
In 1985 Canadian charter airline Worldways added this Lockheed L1011-385-1 (later upgraded to -50) aircraft to its fleet. C-GIES was one of six operated by them. This one was previously operated by Pacific Southwest Airlines and AeroPerú. This aircraft was 1 of the 5 built by Lockheed where the front cargo hold was removed and a lounge complete with air stairs was installed.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, Geminijets and Aviation400.
