Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale CHINESE PEOPLES LIBERATION ARMY AIR FORCE XI’AN Y-20 KUNPENG 20144 (22015) by NG Models.
The Chinese military like its counterparts has a need for a large heavy lift aircraft and the option to build an indigenous version was something the Chinese wanted to do to keep their aircraft industry up with the west and avoid reliance on foreign supply issues. The prototype first flew in 2013. This aircraft is a full production model and is in service with either one regiment in the 4th Transport Division or one regiment in the 13th Transport Division.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix, JC Wings, and Aeroclassics.
