Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale RAF Royal Air Force Vickers VC-10 C1K XV104 “James McCudden VC” (LH2386) by JC Wings.
The original VC-10’s were developed as early civilian jet transports . The RAF took notice of them as a useful strategic passenger transport option, placing two orders for a total of 11 with a further three ex-BOAC added later. This aircraft was delivered new in July 1967 and spent it’s entire life with the RAF until being withdrawn from use in July 2012.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Aeroclassics, NG Model, Phoenix, Geminijets and Aviation400.
