Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Company McDonnell Douglas MD-81 N980DC (XX20024) by JC Wings.
This was the prototype for the second generation of the DC-9. With the merger with McDonnell the designation of the aircraft was changed to MD-80 and the DC-9-81 became the MD-81. The launch customer for this version was Swissair. This model depicts as the special UHB configuration which was used to demonstrate unducted fan engines.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, Inflight200 and Aviation200.
Includes display stand.
