Up for sale is a brand new 1/72 RNZAF Royal New Zealand Air Force Douglas A-4K Skyhawk NZ6201 (HA1440) by Hobby Master in the special ‘Lizard’ scheme.
NZ6201 was one of the ten original batch of A4K single seaters delivered in May 1970 aboard the USS Okinawa. The model shows the aircraft in the “Lizard Scheme” it wore after its conversion under “Project Kahu” which modernised the Skyhawk to a standard similar to F-16’s. The obvious external difference is the removal of the “Hump” on top of the fuselage.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Corgi, Gemini Jets, JC Wings, Witty Wings, Century Wings, NG Models and Aviation72.
Includes display stand.
