Up for sale is a brand new 1/500 AIR NEW ZEALAND BOEING 777-200 ZK-OKH (535274) by Herpa.
Air New Zealand have operated 18 777’s with a mix of both classic -200 and -300 types. This -200 series was originally delivered in the famous Pacific Wave livery and was repainted in the standard black livery as seen here in late 2018. It first arrived in January 2007 and flew with the airline until it was grounded due to the Covid epidemic in 2020. It was placed in storage in at Victorville in California and eventually sold in 2022 to Alta Airlines It is believed to be in storage as of mid 2023.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Geminijets, JC Wings, NG Models and Aviation400.
