Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale SWISS INTERNATIONAL AIR LINES AIRBUS A220-300 HB-JCL “Winterthur” (562614-001) by Herpa Wings.
The Airbus A220 is a family of five-abreast narrow-body airliner, originally designed by Bombardier as the C Series. The program was launched on 13 July 2008, the smaller A220-100 (formerly CS100) made its maiden flight on 16 September 2013, and was awarded an initial type certification by Transport Canada on 18 December 2015. The longer A220-300 (formerly CS300) first flew on 27 February 2015 and received initial type certification on 11 July 2016, this one entered service with Swiss in May 2018.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, JC Wings, NG Models and Phoenix models.
