Herpa 1/200 Astraeus Boeing 757-200 G-OJIB “Ed Force One” (613255)

Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale Astraeus Boeing 757-200 G-OJIB “Ed Force One” (613255) by Herpa Wings.

Astraeus had a fleet of eight 757’s, this one was originally shared between Air 2000 and Canada 3000. Astraeus used it from 2008 to December 2011, sharing it with several other carriers. It was then converted to a freighter for FEDEX and is still in service as of mid 2024. Bruce Dickinson, one of the frontmen of the band Iron Maiden, was also a captain at  Astraeus Airlines. This meant he could rent one of the airline’s five Boeing 757-200 planes for there tours. The aircraft selected, tail number G-OJIB would be dubbed “Ed Force One”, painted in special livery, and flown by Bruce himself.

This model aircraft is made from resin and plastic and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Wooster, Herpa, PPC and Hogan models.
