Bigbird400 1/400 ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 747SR JA8138 (BB4-741-002)

Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 ANA All Nippon Airways Boeing 747SR JA8138 (BB4-741-002) by BigBird models.

The early -100 series 747 was popular with ANA, however they and JAL approached Boeing for a special domestic version with shorter range and larger capacity to service their busy internal routes. The result was the 747SR. This one being delivered to ANA in January 1980. It remained with them until October 2001 when it was sold to Atlas, probably as a parts source as it was scrapped soon after the sale.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, NG Models and Aviation400.
