Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale SWISSAIR MCDONNELL DOUGLAS DC-10-30 HB-IHH “Schaffhausen” (AC411153) by Aeroclassics.
Swissair had a fleet of 14 DC-10’s, all of the -30 version. This one was delivered in February 1975. Retired in early 1992 it went to Northwest then ATA and finally World Airways who withdrew it in about 2010. It was finally scrapped at Marana the same year.
This model aircraft is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
