Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale SAS SCANDINAVIAN AIRLINES DOUGLAS DC-9-30 SE-DBZ “Kettil Viking ” (AC411148) by Aeroclassics.
SAS had several versions of the DC-9 including seven of the -30 sub type. This one was delivered new in September 1967 on lease from Swissair who retrieved it the following year. It moved to the USA in 1981 and remained there for the rest of its working life. It was retired in 1999 after service with Continental and was scrapped the same year.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
