Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale CONTINENTAL AIRLINES DOUGLAS DC-9-30 N3514T “City of St Louis” (AC411141) by Aeroclassics.
Continental had several versions of the DC-9 including at least 36 of the -30 sub type. This one was delivered new to Texas International in December 1979 before moving to Continental in 1982 as part of the merger. In August 1999 it went south to Aero California who operated it through to retirement in 2008 when it was scrapped.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, NG Model, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400.
