Description

Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 BUFFALO AIRWAYS CURTISS C-46 C-GTPO (AC411007) by Aeroclassics.

The C-46 Commando was the biggest twin-engine airplane in the world when it first flew—longer, taller and with a wider wingspan than a B-17 or B-24. To fly a C-46 was to wrestle with 20 to 26 tons of aluminium and steel, depending on the model and mods. There were pilots who said that if you could fly a C-46, you could fly anything. Others claimed that if you could taxi it, you could fly it. Buffalo is a famous Canadian operator who specialises in working in difficult conditions in the rugged northern Canadian wilderness. The Commando is one of two in  fleet of several classic propliner types the company has used.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings and Aviation400
