Up for sale is a brand new 1/400 Virgin Atlantic Boeing 747-100 G-VMIA “Miami Maiden” (BB4-741-006) by BigBird models.

Thirty 747’s have flown with Virgin Atlantic but only one of the original -100 series. This aircraft was a former American Airlines aircraft which also briefly served with QANTAS. VA picked it up in March 1990. It was with them until early 2000 when it was retired and scrapped.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, NG Models and Aviation400.
