Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale United Airlines Boeing 757-200 N14102 “Her Art Here – New York” (53199) by NG Model.
Delivered in June 1994 to Continental this 757 was absorbed into the United fleet when the two airlines merged in October 2010. It was one of two specially painted as part of a competition. Local New Jersey artist Corinne Antonelli won the contest by United to design the unique livery for one of the airlines Boeing 757s. The contest ‘Her Art Here’ was designed to promote female participation in the arts. United asked artists to design a mural that represented the cross country journey from New York to California that the aircraft performs every day.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, J-Fox, Aviation400, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, and Aeroclassics.
