Up for sale is a brand new 1:200 scale NASA BOEING 757-200 N557NA “ARIES” (IF757NASA) by Inflight200.

This 757 was originally delivered to Eastern Airlines in August 1983. It was passed to NASA in December 1994 and stayed with them until January 2009. NASA’s website states “A Boeing 757-200 aircraft obtained by NASA in 1994 is now serving as a “flying laboratory” for aeronautical research. The aircraft is being modified extensively for a broad range of flight research programs in the next 20 years to benefit the U.S. aviation industry and commercial airline customers. Called ARIES, or Airborne Research Integrated Experiments System, the aircraft is being used to conduct research to increase aircraft safety, operating efficiency and compatibility with future air traffic control systems. It is a vital research tool in support of the agency’s Aviation Safety and Aviation Systems capacity programs.” It replaced the original 737 NASA has obtained from Boeing in 1974.

This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and include extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to J-Fox, Gemini Jets, Phoenix Models, JC Wings, and Aviation200.

Includes display stand personalised to the aircraft type and the operator.
