Up for sale is a brand new 1:400 scale AIR INDIA LOCKHEED L-1011-500 Tristar V2-LEJ (35008) by NG Models.
Originally considered by Air India when production of the Tristar was continuing, Air India only ever operated two of the shorter -500 series and that was a decade and a half later. The two aircraft were leased from Caribjet in December 1995 and served on lease for a year. They were two of the last L-1011-500s built having been delivered to Alia in June 1985. Both moved on to to TAP Air Portugal for about 8 years. Following there time there they were sold to Caribjet who then leased them to Air India.
This model air-plane is made from die-cast metal and includes extensive detailing. It is similar in quality to Gemini Jets, Phoenix, JC Wings, and Aeroclassics.
